Roxton is a village in Bedfordshire off A421. Roxton cricket club has only one team this season in the Bedford and Districts League, playing in the second division. The first team has been dissolved as the members have jumped ship to join Thurleigh cricket club
The next season starts on 5th May 2007.
Registration
The registration fee has been waived this year. Only subs need be paid before every match. £5 for the over 16s and £3 for the under 16s. Players are requested to ensure that the match fee is paid duly before the start of the match. Teas will not be provided by the club again this season. It will be every players individual responsibility to pay for teas provided by other teams. The club shall not pay for their teas. Neither will the captain, this year.
Awards
The AGM was held this year on the 29/03/07 at the Chairman's house. As usual it was poorly attended as there was not sufficient notice given to the players.

Developments so far
Planning permission has been obtained for the construction of a brand new purpose-built pavillion.
Plans have been laid. But funding is required.
The playing square will be moved and rebuilt. The ground is to be flattened and boundaries cleared. A new pavilion of wood will be built in the place of the present dilapidated building to house the playing teams.The work is likely to begin next season. The ground may therefore not be available for use next season.
Captains
Chandu Prasannan and Jitender Nayar will be the captain and vice-captain of Roxton for this season.
