Roxton Cricket Club: AGM 2007:

AGM was held on 29/04/07 at the Chairman's residence. As the quorum was unsatisfactory, no changes were made at the helm. Also as the members from the first team have migrated to Thurleigh Cricket club en masse, only one team was entered this season. The team will continue to play in the second division. C Prasannan stays as captain while J Nayar will be the vice-captain for this season.

The collection of subs were poor for the last season. As the facilities have not improved as was promised due to delay, it was proposed to waive the registration fee for this season. Only subs of £5 per player over 16 yrs and £3 for those under 16 will be collected on the day of the match. Letters in this regard along with copy of the fixtures were printed out to each member to be handed out on the day of the first match. It was also proposed that one of the executive member will meet the team in the course of this season to ensure better collection of match fees.

The ground and the square will be redone after this season. A new wooden pavilion is also going to be constructed. The ground may therefore not be available for the next season.

Players are encouraged to sign in new members for the club. Also a training session for the locals who join the club will be undertaken once a week.
